Determining city to city distance

During a recent trip from NC to AZ I came across a useful website to determine mileage between cities and towns, including estimated travel time. It's very easy to use. Just enter the two cities in the easy to use interface and you're instantly provided with mileage and estimated travel time. For some of you who may find this useful, here's the website:

  • Google maps at home, or Apple on the iPhone when underway.
  • My Rand McNally Rv GPS does it and plots only routes my 5ver can travel on also and tells me how long at trailer speed while towing.
  • www.distance between cities. net uses less bandwidth and is faster if you are just judging distances between stopover areas. We use it quite often when planning a new long trip.
  • Thanks Mr. Ed

It's simple and quick to use
Never have to many tools when playing at planing.
  • I use Google maps. Enter a starting point and a destination. It gives directions, time to travel by car, bike, walking, and mass transit. If the start and end points are near airports, it will also tell you how long the flight is and what the average airfare is.
