X2. I got mine "free" with a $10 coupon I obtained by signing up for Good Sam. I also received a $25 coupon towards a one night stay at any GS campground. A win-win situation. :C - mr__edExplorer

No expert. I would presume non-leveling would be ideal for non-horizontal surfaces such as around vents and pipes.
That makes sense...thanks. - Snowman9000ExplorerAlso, if you go to youtube and search dicor rv, you'll find how to videos.

What is the exact name of the Dicor caulk that people use? I just want to make sure I order the right stuff.

That is what you are looking for.
If you click on the photo there and zoom it, you'll notice the right-most tube says "HAPS-free". That is a new product which does not give off as bad of fumes as the original formula. If you are applying outdoors, it won't matter, and I suspect the original stuff is probably better.
But applied indoors, the original stuff is very nasty.
edit to add: I looked at the photo again. The listing is only selling the 501 series, which is the original type. The photo shows from left to right: 551 non-sag, 501 self leveling, 505 HAPS-free self-leveling. But only the 501 is for sale on that page, albeit in 3 different colors. - joeprinterExplorerJust grabbed some this week, from CW, Dicor Lapsealant, bright white. self leveling.
- JIMNLINExplorer IIIWhen adding a sealent and especially eternabond don't make a dam for water to puddle up there.

- mr__edExplorerHere's another question: What use is there for the non-self leveling sealant? I've always used the self leveling product on those areas where I haven't used Eternabond.
- robsouthExplorer IIYou might want to consider eternabond as well. Good stuff.
- mlts22Explorer IIAppreciate the reply. Got the sealant ordered and ready to go. So far, the trailer has passed my sealant checks... until last weekend when I saw a lot of nasty cracks, so going to spend a couple mornings fixing this.
Better safe than sorry (and leaky.)
