With work (limited vacation) and school we mainly camp a few weekends plus a 2 week vacation. Yes, we had a great camping year! Thoroughly enjoyed all of our trips this year, some to spots that were very new to us. We also did some good backpacking this year - first three-night trip with all 3 kids. (Heavier pack for me since the youngest can't carry more than her own changes of clothes, but it was still good.) Next year: Backcountry kayaking in Canada with the kids, plus camping and hopefully another three-night backpacking trip.
