I'm just a weekend camper. But, I had a great year.
There is a small amusement park near me. http://www.arnoldspark.com/new/
I took 7 different kids from 4 different families out camping, and to this amusement park. Some of these kids were from families that don't have the money to take them to places like this. Some of them were from families that were; lets just say; not so great.
It felt really good to see the smiles on their faces and them having a good time. Their home life is sometimes rough. They don't always get a chance to smile and have fun. I'm glad I was able to bring a little joy into their lives.
