Wow! Great responses! We have been close friends since we were 20 years old and being open and honest with each other is no problem. Fortunately, despite his weight he is in good physical shape, strong, mobile, flexible, hops in and out of the truck, walks well. We all have a great sense of humor so we're not worried about offending anyones sensibilities. Also, DW has had some serious health issues and I'm no stranger to the caretaker role and I have no health issues. So, here's the plan: he and I are going to go to a campground within 2or 3 hours from home for 2 or 3 nights. Good trial run. Worse case scenario we come home. Best case scenario it all goes well and we make future plans accordingly. DW had a great alternative suggestion! Let's all go on a cruise!!! Sounded good to all of us! Thank you everyone!!!
