Dinghy Towing 2008 Ford Edge FWD

We are interested in purchasing a Ford edge for dinghy towing behind our motorhome. Does anyone have any pros or cons about this vehicle for flat towing?

We have towed a 2008 Edge AWD for over ten years with no issues.
