Sundance... I too would be very hesitant to pull a lifted truck behind my mh...especially one that has been lifted that much. So, maybe a trailer would be in your best interest.

Ron, Why would the OP want to tow a trailer to the oil fields with his truck? If he doesn't take the MH to the fields then he doesn't save any housing money. I think the OPs and others intention is clear. The OP has a MH and wants to flat tow the truck to the oil fields. If he can't flat tow the truck then towing a trailer with the truck on it is a possible option.

A trailer adds weight and the MH hitch needs to handle the weight.
