Dinghy towing a lifted truck

Good morning!
I'm in desperate need for advice!! I just purchased a 2005 Monoco Knight diesel pusher. I have a 2010 GMC 2500 that with all included has roughly 10 inches of lift. 6 inch suspension lift, 2 inch body lift, 37 inch rubber on 20 inch rims. I'd like to tow this behind the coach, but the owner of the hitch installation place tells me that the truck will wander back and forth behind the coach. He says that it's possible something could get damaged.
Has anyone on here ever towed a lifted truck? Please help!!

  • Absolutely it would be! But they make risers for the tow bar. Up to 12 inch I believe. The owner just called a drive line place and the guy he spoke to said don't even try it! That it would hop around so bad that it may even flip over!!! So now I'm really spooked!
I think I may have to sell this gorgeous truck...
  • Do asearch for tow bar manufacturers and start reading. I understand most all of them recommend the tow bar be parallel to the ground. In your situation the angle will be really bad
