A DP or large Super C can probably handle the stopping. In our case, Class C E450, I can feel that toad "push" and I don't like it.
That said, another word from the above: BREAKAWAY!!!
If nothing else, let's have a little social responsibility. I don't want to be the one somebody's few tons of toad hits me head on because that somebody didn't bother to exercise both legal (there's the word again...) and common sense responsibility to add a braking system.
