Dining Plan allows reservations 6months in advance. We typically go for a mid tier dining plan. Book your character meals as soon as possible. Eating in the castle is very cool for the kids. Also, plan a character meal inside Epcot for early morning. This gives you early access to Epcot before the general public. We have some great shots of the Epcot ball with zero people in the shot. Our next scheduled visit will include dinner reservations in Epcot at Canada. It was a 6hr wait last time with no reservations.
Good points. But you don't have to do the dining plan for the "six months in advance" reservations. That's for everyone.
