Dirt
Previous 3 travel trailers all had wall-to-wall carpet. Thought we were doing a good job keeping them vacuumed all the time. We now have a 5er with no carpeting, except the small amount in slide outs....

I also prefer the carpet to help keep the floors warmer when it's cool out. We also have a small dog and I believe you about the dirt ...and...hair. We sure get a bunch of it up , and more when we steam clean the carpet.
