disabled vet finally going fulltime

We full time and VA meds are a challenge. You can no longer pick them up at another VA location. They must be mailed. We tried changing our address at the VA temporarily but that was a huge mess because they didn't change it back. So I would NOT try to give the VA a temporary mailing address. We have the meds mailed to our home address and our daughter boxes them up and mails them when we give her the address of the park where we'll be for a week or more, or to a post office for "hold for pickup".. caution... not all post offices have this service. You must look on the USPS website or ask the post office if they have "hold for pickup" service at that particular location. A mail forwarding service would work too. We have used www.myrvmail.com previously and it worked great. You use their address as your home address and you can set up how and when you want the mail forwarded to you.
