I got the a-okay from the workamping position based on pictures, and we got the job! I should have mentioned our rig passed NYS inspection a few months ago and has a solid foundation. It has had some good welding work done to it, and it's not an eyesore except compared to the fancy new ones. But it is still 25 years old...
Glad you got the job. Just remember that you see your rig with different eyes. Think: a face only a mother could love. Your comment comparing to fancy rigs may well be the point at some Parks/Resorts.
Dont get mad; just find another place where you can be happy working and not have to worry about your rig. - Passin_ThruExplorerI have been asked 1 time the age of my TT. They didn't care anyway. I haul it 13K a year and have been in 10 states with it.

- IroverExplorerI could see a problem with being to long to fit in a site; mostly older state parks or Forestry services; but not to short!!
Back to the OP ???. Send them a picture and ask many questions! Only had a problem one time when I drove 1100 miles and they had changed management of the campground.I parked at a few box stores and stayed overnight and used the web to locate another place in the area! Once out of about a dozen places I work camped for! - NolanExplorer

Not with our trailer, but did on a few jobs because of our truck.
You have a rust bucket truck or what? Can I ask in general (or specific) where were you denied? And when in the application process?
I don't remember the campground owners/managers who said no because the of size. It's only 25 foot long. But they still thought the truck was to big. In the application process of calling to be sure they got our resume and if they had any questions is when it came up.
I just moved on and applied at other campgrounds. I had on our resume what we had, so they knew ahead of time. Plenty of other owners/managers out there never had a problem due to what it is or its size. Those I can list if you want them. - LuckypennyExplorer

The smaller the rig, the more likely stuff is going to migrate from inside storage to outside. As the Mafia Godfather said in Casino, right before having everyone who knew anything killed, "Why take chances?"djgarcia wrote:
I can understand an age/condition restriction, but I think a minimum length requirement is ridiculous.
I am a snowbirder in Ariz 3 months a year. The Rv park I am in has a 10yr. rule at which time they will require an inspection by the staff. They also have a length requirement minimum--- 26 ft.
