Do I need equalizer bars?

I just bought a new trailer (dual axle). It is 25 ft long and has a dry tongue weight of 550 lbs and a total dry weight of 5500. My truck is a 1 ton dually diesel with supersprings that is higher at the rear than the front as a result, and I have a Torklift superhitch. I doubt the truck will even drop to level when I put the loaded trailer on the hitch.
  • Probably not - I didn't when I had a similar setup. You can give it a try and see if it performs ok.
