Equalizer bars

Currently I have a 1,000/10,000 hitch. It looks like that if I wanted to upgrade the bars to 1,200 or 1,400 that I would have to replace the head unit as the bars are 1/8" wider.

Looks like it would require a whole new hitch.

    If you're EQ is in good shape, you should be able to sell it and get a fair amount of $$ to soften the blow on the new EQ. An yes, you do need to replace the entire hitch as noted above.

    The downfall of the Equal-i-zer is that the spring bars are not upgradeable.
