I have been listening to this discussion for the past 23 years while driving 2 class A motorhomes more than 200000 miles Never, never have I read a test report made by a government agency, motor home maker, brake assist devise manufacturer, Camping World, RV dealer, no one to my knowledge has tested one of these devices. If you have knowledge of such a report let me see it. I have never seen or heard of a legal settlement made using the argument that some AH crashed into me because he didn't have a brake assist device on his MH and I was awarded $500000. for his stupidity in not having a braking assist device installed on his MH. However I have read about these devices failing and causing tire blow outs and excessive brake wear.
