Absolutely put in a braking system. The additional braking, I'm convinced, saved our bacon when someone pulled in front, of us, requiring locking the brakes. Our Edge is somewhat heavier though.
We have Roadmaster air brake cylinder. A lot of Folks like the Airraid, I think is the brand name. Don't have to install and remove each time. Don't know about cost.
