Susan and I met a couple last year, that had been on the road for 5 years.
The first 2.5 years covered 120,000 miles on a BWM motorcycle.
The second 2.5 years covered about the same miles in a different direction but in a truck camper.

The one item we discussed was not "WHY" but "WHY NOT". His friends and co-workers and employer never did get it.
