Everybody talks about how important it is to have goals, but I disagree. A goal has to be specific, measurable, and has a deadline. (For example, retire at 60 years old with x dollars in the bank) ...

I'd rather aim for the moon and hit the side of a barn than aim for a barn and hit a mud puddle.
Without goals a person will wander through life, taking the path of least resistance and get spit out the end with nothing.
