You all make goals too 'lofty.' I have three goals today: mop the floor, vacuum, and turn the hunk of meat in the fridge into pulled pork. I think, if I achieve these goals today, I will be successful and I will be happy. Life is much easier setting smaller achievable goals among the big ones. The big goal: see the world up close. No deadline, no quantifiable parts, just a dream.
At this time, our goal is to see Alaska this summer. Our aim is west then north. Our objectives are: walk on a glacier, walk in an ice cave, fish for halibut, and cross the arctic circle. Of course, one could say our objectives are our goals and vice versa. It's all semantics anyway...
