Everybody talks about how important it is to have goals, but I disagree. A goal has to be specific, measurable, and has a deadline. (For example, retire at 60 years old with x dollars in the bank) ...

Interesting topic... went to Disneyworld over the holidays and they are now pushing rigid planning as part of the "fun" experience. You can, 6 months in advance, secure all your fast pass times, meal reservations, and activities. Plus they want you to wear a wrist band that allows them to track everything you do and when!
To me this was insane and I actively persued the opposite coarse of action. Researching online it seems that most don't mind being forced to set "goals"... we like to wander.
