Everybody talks about how important it is to have goals, but I disagree. A goal has to be specific, measurable, and has a deadline. (For example, retire at 60 years old with x dollars in the bank) ...

I have set many goals in my life. Some I have attained and others I am still working on. My first goal was to be able to retire on my 50th birthday and be financial free. I attained that goal. The only problem was I got board. After 15 months of retirement I became an otr truck driver. My goal was to visit all 48 states in 2 years. I attained that goal. Then I wanted to get a class a rv and we did. Now our goal is to travel where ever the rv points. Now our next goal is to see new places and meet many new friends. Setting goals for us is important, but never set them where they cannot be reached.
