Do you think I should spend $2600 and add exhaust brake?

My truck is a Florida rig, no hills. Now 3 weeks away from a cross country trip and really considering adding the exhaust brake... Will be heading across the Rockys going from SD to San Fran... ...

To the OP,
Just remember what a good investment the EB would be every time you need to step on the brake pedal on a down grade and heat up the service brakes. I will just rumbel my way down the hill.
