The narrow RV steps is what wrecked my knees twisting them so they fit on the step. After one season of full timing on the road I could barely walk.
A ramp would have to extend pretty far out to make the incline comfortable to walk down. Found out that pretty quick when I tried it. Too short of a ramp and you almost fall over going down it. That's why those dog ramps don't work for humans we are a lot taller than a dog!
What I ended up doing was buying flat square patio blocks and cinder blocks and placed them up and around the RV steps or up to MH without steps.
Make it is as wide as you need. I used the patio blocks around the cinder blocks so the step down was less for me.
The blocks are real cheap, about a dollar a piece at the big box stores! When I leave a CG and hit the road I just leave them. I ask the CG owners first and all so far have actually welcomed the gift.
Spending $10 to ease the pain in my knees IMHO is worth spending when I stay at a CG for more than a week.
My knees stopped hurting immediately after I started using the blocks instead of the RV steps.

The white is tape. I had a hard time seeing the step drop off at night so the white tape helped solve that problem for me.
