I also found out they make '2 types' of cinder blocks.
I couldn't understand that although they looked identical on the shelf why one was cheaper? Clerk showed me that the less expensive ones 'weigh' way less. I.E. used in less load bearing construction.
The light weight ones can only be found at Lowes or Home Depot. Walmart doesn't carry them.
The second stop I bought the ones that weigh less. If not only for the fact that it was easier to put in the shopping cart! And my 'save my knees' project now cost even less money! :B
