I hope that's a typo there friend, running anything but ST tires on a trailer (regardless of load rating) is a very bad choice.
Truck tires are designed to work with a different type of suspension, and also to give the passengers a smooth ride. ST tires are designed with stiffer sidewalls and for trailer suspension.
I have seen this stiffer sidewalls issue, ST v.s. LT stated both ways.
What makes sense to me is that(IMHO):
1. STs are softer so they CAN flex and not scrub on a multi-axle trailer while turning.
2. LTs are stiffer so they don't flex under load. P tires are designed for ride comfort.
