Does ANY trailer manufacturer use adequate tires/axles?

WRT axles, my TT has a GVWR of 4950#. It has a pair of 2800# axles which total 5600#. I have some cushion. Not as much as I'd like, but some.

WRT tires, the current GY Marathon 205/75R14 equal 7040# giving me a very comfortable margin of error.
