If I were a RV Park owner I would make it known that no one can charge their Electric cars without some form of payment.
Costco Visa card gives 4 percent off at Costco fuel stations.
that'll come, maybe sooner rather than later. someone has to pay for the energy..ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
On a much more Macro Economic note, what also is bound to happen is once the number of alternative fuel vehicles become more than a mere blip on the radar, there is going to be a federal excise tax associated with them to go to the road and bridge funds. States will also follow suit with the same sort of taxes. Federal taxes total around 18.5 cents per gallon on gasoline and state taxes average another 23 cents. No way those entities pass up that revenue because some vehicles use fuel other than gas or diesel. I would think a mileage tax on alternative fueled vehicles is in our near future.
Totally agree. Something has to pay for the infrastructure. A tax revision will be required. Nothing is free.
