I buy fuel at CostCo and Sams Club. Usually 20-30 cents per gallon cheaper, today it was only 9 cents lower than any other station around. Seldom have a wait, and if its real busy, maybe a 5 minute wait. If you need premium fuel though, Sams is waaayyy too high, but CostCo is usually a good deal.
The attendant at Sams Club told me they do not set the prices locally. Its all done in Arkansas, and the pump prices are controlled by WalMart in Bentonville.
As far as water in the fuel, where do you think the other stations around get their gas? Same place Sams and CostCo do. Wherever they can get it the cheapest.
