Eastern Equine Encephalitis is a very real threat in our area - the CDC and State recommend Deet be used to combat the infectious disease in children and those with compromised immune systems. Sorry but I'm not keeping my family locked in the house until August so Deet it is; I apply the "family" version which has 15% of Deet.
