i think you guys worry to much. Never ever been pulled over when driving the RV.
In fact, when I brought the Allegro in Alabama many years ago, I drove it all the way back to NYS with the expired Alabama plates that the dealer left on it. Dealer said if I got stopped to show the leo the bill of sale, as they did not provide transport plates.
And just why would one need lights on the license plate during day time hours anyway? Don't drive the motorhome during the dark.
