I haven't read all 4 pages of this thread. I leave my dog in the camper and after I drive away he shuts up. (I've snuck back to check) If he didn't I would put a "Bark Collar" on him. There not perfect but, after awhile the dog will get tired of the occasional shock and shut up. I've used it on my dogs and if they don't shut up when I tell them too all I have to do is walk out with the collar in my hand and threaten them with it and they get quiet right away. In fact the batteries in it are dead but, they don't know that (so don't tell them) and it still does the trick.
