I don't think people want to ban dogs. I would not like that.
I also don't think that the CG makes a difference. We do not camp in private CG's. We camp in provincial or federal parks. Noise aso seems to travel over open water.
Last year we were somewhere that 2 units came in together. The spaces are quite far apart. You can't see other peoples units. Anyway, they chained their dogs up the minute they got there and before the hands left the collars the dogs started. Non stop. Most people were out hiking or on the lake so they were away from the sites. They were still barking when we got back and apparently barked all day with the owners sitting beside them. The dogs obviously did not like the chain.
After complaining the next day they left their dogs in their unit. When they returned the dogs had chewed everything they could find, furniture, everything. They went around expecting others to pay for the damage since they had to put their dogs inside. .
