This is one of many reasons we prefer not to stay in cheek-to-jowl "campgrounds." Our dogs are used to the MH and used to having us be gone, and to the best of my knowledge, have never barked for an prolonged periods. They seldom back at all without provocation (their favorite being other dogs walking by or being outside next to our MH. But just in case, having a note on the window is a good idea. We always had one when we lived on a boat, because of the many emergencies that can arise there, and we have one on each outside door at the house, in case of fire, but had never thought about it with the MH.
