We full-time with 4 dogs. And have never had a complaint. We make sure we take them out to go potty just before we leave, give them a treat, make sure they have plenty of water, pull the curtains open on a window or two, and leave either the tv or the radio on to drown out low-level noise. Normally notify a neighbor if we are going to be gone more than an hour or two just in case. They keep quiet as far as we know. A radio or TV on is really the key, we think.
