OK, I admit it. I like messing with people.We recently stayed in Trailer Village at Grand Canyon. I had to park my pick up in a marked area about 30 yards away from our site. While returning from a morning walk with our dogs carrying two little silver bags of their poop, we walked by my truck, I paused and looked around, then dropped the two bags into the bed of the truck. I knew some people were watching me and I can only guess what they thought when they saw me drop off my presents in the bed of this truck. Nothing was said, but I felt the heat of their gaze when walking back to my fiver. As a famous Bunny would say, Ain't I a stinker?

I don't get the point of it. Now you will have to go back and get those bags and throw them away. Hope they don't get all sweaty and stinky. And for what, so people will think you're a jerk? Not something I endeavor to accomplish.

Unlike the above post, I see the humor in what you did!

We used to do that occasionally. No I don't want dog poo in the inside trash can and sometimes it's a walk to the dumpsters and figure we will get rid of it later.Problem is weeks later cleaning out the bed you would find one squished under some firewood.That is funny about what the neighbors might think.

We were at Whitewater State Park near Liberty, Indiana last week. We drove to one of the trails, as there are no trails near the campground area. Almost as soon as we got out of the truck, the dog decides it's time to "go". So he did. No problem. Picked it up and the wife says, just put the bag near the tire of the truck and we'll get it when we come back from the hike.I thought about that for a moment and saw double work there? Drop it by the tire, then have to pick it up later anyway. The bag was tied shut, I simply put it in the bed of the truck (it has a shell). She didn't like that too well, but we went on the hike anyway.Back at the campground, it went out with the rest of the trash. No problems. No smells. So yea. I can understand where the OP is coming from. We lived in Woodbridge, VA in an apartment complex for a while when I was in the Army stationed at Ft. Belvoir. I just bought my Chevy S-10 pick up truck. A few days (or nights) later, there was a group of people sitting in the back of the pick-up truck with a cooler having a party! I went balastic! I busted out of the apartment and swore to tear every one of them from limb-to-limb. My wife called the police! (She really thought I was going to kill somebody!) They all scrambled like fleas off a dog dropped in flea dip! Police came and they suggest I get a shell for the truck. Next night, I had a shell on the bed!Yea, things happen!

I have done that when there is no garbage can at the site, just have to remember to get rid of it when we pass the dumpster on the way out. And no, I don't look around furtively and quickly walk away although I have been known to of drop it in the can at another site.:B

Nothing, although the smart alec did ask me how I liked my new refrigerator. We got a good laugh out of the whole deal.

I came back to work from lunch one day and parked next to a fellow employee (and good friends) pickup. I had an old small Christmas tree in the bed of my pickup to drop off at the tree recycling place on the way home. Decided to put it in the back of his pickup instead.

My pickup has a canopy on it and the next day I'm driving home from work and notice via the rear view mirror that something big was in the bed.

He had put the box and all packaging contents from a new refrigerator, along with some bonus boxes into the bed of my truck. I think I got the short end of that deal.:)

Now that's funny. What dis you put in his truck next time?

Just don't put it on the hood of the truck by the wipers. No I didn't smear it but I did drive off with it there and the aroma came through the vent system.

That is funny! Here is my dog poop story. Many years ago, our dog had to go while I was leveling and setting up. No problem, pick it up and put the bag on top of the tire, passenger side because I was setting up and would see it easily. I have a bag of trash I need to throw anyway. This is why you shouldn't be distracted when you are setting up or breaking down, of course I forgot the bag and the trash. We went out later, pulling away I hear a "pop" noise. Looking around I don't see anything. Drive a little further and remember the bag. Circle back to pick it up and fortunately it is not a splattered mess, but now I am mad at myself. I fix that by grabbing the bag of trash from the storage compartment, which I also forgot, and throwing the bag into it and then throwing the bag in the trash. Drive a while farther and start questioning myself. Hmmm, better go back and check. Yes, I did. I put the bag of poop in the trash bag that held our sewer hose and connections instead of the bag with trash in it and threw it away. Darn, have to go retrieve it now. I probably had the neighbors talking that night. Live and learn, I have not done it again .... yet.

I caught the humour instantly as that is my normal practice on a daily basis. I drive by the main garbage bins at least 4 - 6 times per week so the pyramid of little blue bags never gets out of control. I guess some folks just gotta over analyze.
