If the awning has a wind sensor, did the sensor get wet while the awning was out? I usually run the awning out when I wash the rig and roof. If I try to retract it just after washing the roof, the stupid awning will not come back, let the sensor dry a little and it rolls back. You are experiencing just what I have always envisioned happening. I've always said "that if I go to roll the awning out and it doesn't go OK. But if it is out and won't retract hopefully there will be no neighbors close by as they will hear a whole new vocabulary.
