Dometic fridge not working

Picked up camper today from storage. Used it 2 weekends ago. Fridge/freezer would not light on propane. Get home and plug into shore power and not cooling. Interior lights and the power lights work. Checked fuse in converter and it was good. Checked 2 glass fuses behind panel on outside of camper and they were good. Checked outlet and it had power. Camper is a 2014. 8 cubic foot. Mother board??

  • All is good. Had my camper at dealer last week all week and they don't disconnect the battery. Must have discharged just enough to not get enough power. After being plugged into shore power overnight battery fully charged the propane lit right away. Sometimes its the simple things. Thanks for the tips.
  • Electric gas flow shutoff valve is not opening when power is applied. Or not getting power?
  • Take the metal cover off and see whats going on may need to blow it out sometimes the orifice will get stopped up easy to blow out.Look to see if it lights and if the flame is all blue.Make sure the gas valve is open all the way that is on orifice. Remember this is propane and can cause fire be careful..Also check to make sure that you have voltage to board when you unplug the shore power 12.7 to 13.6 sounds like it might be the battery check it.Hope this helps.
  • Have had it plugged into shore for over an hour and it is working on electric. When I unplug from shore the propane sounds like it ignites but it also seems to go out right away and then I just get the repetitive ticking from it trying to spark/ light. All other stoves and grill work on propane.
  • If the interior light in the refrigerator is out so is the fridge, also look for a yellow color on the bottom specially where the heater is, if you see the yellow color fridge is toast.

Another give away is an AMONIAC odor you might have to really get close to smell it if you smell it the fridge is gone.

Have you also checked your 12v battery and if you turned it on or if there is sufficient juice to power the the electronics.
