I did the same thing on a boat ramp once. The ramp was busy and I was in a hurry to get out off everyones way. Pulled the boat into position on the ramp. Put the truck in park (I thought), to get out and remove the boats tie down straps. As I got out, the door nearly knocked my over. I managed to get halfway into the truck and kick the parking brake, just as the truck's rear wheels hit the water. I received a red faced round of applause from everyone in line behind me.
