Stop being so darn stingy!!
I come from a family that realized that transporting firewood was silly, unnecessary and bad for the local forest populations.
Therefore, I'd never ever dream of hauling my wood anywhere else. I always buy from the camp host/local firewood sales. And any that I don't burn, I always stack neatly next to or near the fire pit for the next campers use.
I trust that the gatekeepers to our treasured forests have in mind the right things that need to be done to keep the forests green and healthy.
Some 2x4's and scrap pieces of lumber used to block up tire and jacks are ok to transport and use as far as I know.
