The way I see it is this. The reason memories are important is because they come from experience. I believe we are the sum of our experiences not of how big a MH we have or how much money we have in the bank. And that is what I want out of life.
whether you camp in a tent or 200k mh does not really matter, what matters is getting out there. The problem is as we get older something like tent camping gets a lot harder. And so me, personally, I would not go much, as it is to much work and I don't want to sleep on the ground anymore. Hence not many experiences and memories
I agree with the OP you don't have to break the bank on a new MH, But to find a way to get out there, have some experiences, build some memories before you get to old, to sick to dead. Just me, but I would much rather have the experiences and memories than a few extra bucks in the bank.
We have tried to do both, we have pretty good finances, but with the clock ticking we are not afraid to spend a few bucks
