Here's our situation. I retired at age 50 from a great but stressful career. Plan was to work part time at something I enjoyed to pay bills (didn't need much). Plan was working good till age 57 when I ruptured my heart and almost died. No more working. It took several years but I recovered enough for us to go camping again with us finally buying our RV. Then, 6 years after my event, my dear wife was struck with cancer which also rendered her quadriplegic. Now at the young age of 64 we are pretty much housebound. We are still hoping for recovery which will allow us to get to the beach once again in our beloved RV. I'm with the don't wait group.
