not oregon, they don't allow for passing through. And they do stop and make you drop the extra trailer before being allowed to move.
Yep, can't ven do it if you have a CDL!
Yet, commercial rigs can tow triple trailers on the interstates, they do need a Long load sign on the last trailer.
Sometimes they look like a snake slithering down the road.
It isn't even interstates, I've seen triples on single lane roads between portland and the coast on a regular basis.
yup I know several ex truckers that are RV'rs, and even though they have a CDL to tow triples, the only way they can tow double in oregon is if they are hauling comercially. Kinda a bummer, the've driven class VIII for million miles or more.
And if I understand correctly from them, IF they try and get caught, the penalty is much stiffer than if they didn't have a CDL.
