All those who are making the statement about there being many good drone operators, but there's plenty of bad ones...kinda sounds like the gun control argument. I don't think legal, non-criminal gun owners should be restricted due to a few nuts, and I feel the same about drones.
To date, there have been ZERO incidents where a drone harmfully collided with an aircraft or building. The cases where people have shot them down or are complaining about their presence are few and far between. They are banning them in the parks because of the photography and recording aspects. God forbid you take an unsanctioned picture in a state or national park.
