I consider myself to be quite defensive when it comes to driving, always watching out, looking at other vehicles, preparing for any bonehead thing they may do.... But you know, sometimes some clown...

We were going in opposing directions. He was stopped in the left turn lane facing me. He waited until I was nearly upon the intersection before turning left in front of me. He had the green light too.
Still an illegal left turn. I really feel you have nothing to sweat. Check with the police and see if charges are pending.
