Yep that will buff right out!:R
The fact that you drove away says a lot about the degree of damage, very good sign. It would be a shame to loose that 07 Durmax.
Keep us posted on the repair cost.
Looks like hood, bumper, bumper trim, possible right fender, hopefully less than $10,000.
Consultation with body shop - frame is bent, but they feel it is minor and can pull it no problem.
Hood, fender, inner fender, grille, bumper, all lights on right, all done, need replacing. Rad support, inner fender and a bunch more needs replacing.
I borrowed a headlight assembly and rigged it in place to be legal. I can drive it.
Front end was shoved into tire and scraping. I got out my recip saw and carved off the offending pieces so they didn't rub on tire.
Truck pulls to the right and steering wheel sits about 11 o'clock. Geometry is out of whack.
I don't want my truck written off.
Today I discovered some additional damage that could add 4 grand to the repair. My rack and toolboxes weigh 2000 pounds. The impact has ripped the steel inner framework of my box - pulled the sides right out of the back corner structural supports - metal is ripped.
I have a situation here. Don't want it written off, so I may let them get the front repair underway to the point where they are committed to finishing before I mention the box damage.
I have appointment with ICBC on Wednesday to write up the claim for repairs. They may see the box damage, they may miss it, I don't know......
