Well, I got good news today!
Insurance company has authorized the repair to the tune of 18 grand. Yahoo! - I'm a happy guy now!

Guys at the shop have been absolutely awesome. They have checked the truck over with a fine tooth comb and even found a couple things I missed. Like the dents in the roof from the rack.
Rad support is bent and cracked in a few places. Has to be OEM on that one - they cannot find a used one. $1200. for a rad support!!! :E Wow!
Also, the intercooler rad was impacted. Not leaking but they are replacing it because it could leak.
They found a complete used bed for it, minus the fenders. Mine will be re-used. My rack and toolboxes weigh about 2000 pounds. They have taken a serious toll on the framework of the box. They pointed out numerous places where the weight has crushed the framework and also it has cracked in several places too.
Couple pics:

Here is where I fell into the outhouse and came out smelling like a rose. Insurance is replacing the whole thing, even though it is obvious that I caused some of the deterioration which weakened the box, making it more susceptible to impact damage. I am thankful for that one.
Now I have had to give a little on the OEM vs aftermarket parts.
It was close to being totaled. Real close. The shop really did go to bat for me with the insurance co. Some of the pieces will be non OEM, like the hood and probably things like the headlight and such parts. Most of the bumper brackets will be jobber, not GM.
I don't like it but..... I gotta be willing to be flexible too, to save my truck. And I have to keep in mind they are replacing the whole bed for me. Give and take... They told me that the parts have to be a perfect fit or they will reject them. The windshield will be new though.
Here are a few pics I took today:

Anyways, that's the latest in my truck crunch fiasco.
