I have them on mine and they make a very big difference when the OAT is -25°F.

I have duel pane (thermopane) windows in my current TT. I would not buy a new TT without them. Yes they are definitely worth the extra cost.

Yes they work, warming in winter, cooler in summer and less condensation

BTW - like everything/anything else - the cost on a new RV is negotiable.

If installing on your existing RV - shop around for prices..;)

I did not have them on the trailer but have them on my coach. I love them and would not be without them. They help with heat. cold and noise reduction.

Yes, we have them on our TT, double pane and tinted. The tinting makes a huge difference in the summer, and the dual pane prevents the constant sweating and condensation that you get when running the furnace in the winter.

The added benefit we didn't anticipate was noise reduction....the TT is a whole lot quieter with dual pane windows, so we are less aggravated by noisy neighbors in the evening that we used to be.

I have used flexible silver reflecting insulation on the inside of our 96 Southwind for several years. It has dual pane windows.
I have had no problems.

I have them and YES they are worth the extra cost. Well they are for me anyways. The extra insulation is huge!

We think they help, especially because they have the dark tint.

Is it possible to retro-fit a vehicle with dual pane? I would think custom windows could be put in. The frame is similar but if your sizes are not standard a custom shop may need to make them.

I doubt you'll see any monetary gain from going to dual pane but your comfort level may be improved over single pane. It may make the resale better when that day comes because many folks have and love dual pane.

Yes, you will find conversations on here about dual panes that have a broken seal and become foggy. I think it all depends on what brand of window you buy and their warranty. Our Heir windows/what Tiffin puts in have never gotten foggy in 12 years.

My buddies late 90s Foretravels are still good. Mine are going to cost like $3k to fix.
