Not the dump station thing but still something that gnaws at me for not being more aggressive in my butting my nose into something that isn't my business;
A nice big dully Dodge pickup backs a 24' travel trailer into a spot next to me. First thing the guy comes over and asks if I have a jack. I asked what kind, he said something he could get the trailer up high enough to unhook from his pickup. I gave him a 5 ton hydraulic...He walked away and came back and asked if I had any blocks of wood? I gave him several of different sizes...He walked away and came back and asked if I had any rags? I drew the line and said no.
Later he obviously wanted to talk and came over and invited himself to sit down and jaw... I asked if he knew that the receiver he had bolted to the stock bumper was only rated to about 350 lbs and tow weight was nothing compared to the weight of the trailer he had.
He shrugged it off and said: thats the thing they put on it when I bought the trailer.... I didn't respond.
