I have done this once - a broken waste valve and limited resources made it inevitable. Maybe five gallons. I picked up the solids, and hosed the area down several times over a day. I reported it to the campground management.
Doing it out of laziness or some shaky ecological blabbing is really uncool. Human waste is dangerous. The formaldehyde in the treatment chemicals is probably worse.
